Founded in 1955, Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) is a family owned transportation business. We are located in over 40 terminals, trailer yards, and business offices throughout the world. Our expertise is in heavy haul, dry van/pad wrap, flatbeds, specialized, logistics, and international transport. Under the founding family leadership, Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) has grown to be one of the largest privately owned transportation companies in North America.

As a family and a business, ATS is concerned about the health and wellness of our employees, their families, and the communities in which they live. Over the past few years, ATS has promoted several employee and community wellness programs. For example, ATS employees enjoy a half-mile walking path around our corporate facility; a wellness page on our Intranet as a source of information on healthy eating and exercising; various “fun” wellness challenges such as the most recent “Walk Like You Mean It” challenge; company-sponsored softball team, and discounts at health and fitness gyms.

As a sponsor of the Bernick’s Family Field Day, ATS feels this is a great opportunity to improve the health and wellness of the families in our community. By encouraging families to exercise and have fun together, Family Field Day is a unique event that allows families to try new things. The event will allow adults and children to try such events as the softball toss, shot put, discus, hurdles, sprints, high jumps, and a balance walk. Other activities taking place include a pole vault demo; shot put and discus clinics; and a field goal contest. Area student athletes will be available for pointers.

With an Olympic flair, this event will be an exciting day at the track. Hope to see you there!
